Have a go at crochet with these Christmas Scrunchies. They are easy, quick, so satisfying and plump up a droopy Christmas stocking nicely.
Hair tie (preferably one that matches your yarn-ish)
Nice, bulky yarn: I used Lamb’s Pride Bulky in Oatmeal and White Frost
Crochet hook to match your yarn: I used US J10, 6.00 MM
Holding a hair tie and the yarn with your left hand, draw up a loop through the middle of the hair tie. It’s fiddly. Just get the yarn on your hook your way.
Row 1: ch 1, 23 sc, sl st in first sc
Row 2: ch 3, [1 dc, ch 2, 2 dc] all in the same stitch, *sk 2 sc, [2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc]* all in the same stitch. Repeat from * to * until final 2 sc in round. Sk 2 sc. Sl st in top of first ch 3. Break off yarn. Weave in the ends. Enjoy.
