Chai Croissant French Toast

This recipe for Chai Croissant French Toast is super simple to make and tastes great! Perfect for brunch or hosting a big crowd.

10 small croissants

4 eggs

1/3 cup half and half

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon all spice

1/4 teaspoon cardamom

1/4 teaspoon ginger

pinch of salt

coconut oil for frying

Instructions

Whisk eggs, half and half, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, all spice, cardamom, ginger, and salt together in a shallow bowl. 

*Melt approximately 1 tablespoon coconut oil in a large skillet over medium heat. 

Soak each croissant in the egg mixture for about 30 seconds to one minute on each side. Make sure the egg mix has covered all of the croissant. Fry in the coconut oil for about 1 minute on each side or until golden brown. Press down to ensure it cooks evenly. 

*Repeat until all of the croissants are cooked

Serve with maple syrup, whipped cream, and berries of your choice.
